1. Who We Are

Still Fellowship is a Christian disconnection ministry founded by Aaron Tomberlin. Our heart is to help people step away from the noise of modern life and reconnect with God, family, and one another through small gatherings, home learning, and simple tools like the Be Still experience and the upcoming Still app.

Still Fellowship is based in Tennessee, USA.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy & Terms of Use applies to:

  • stillfellowship.org and any pages under this domain;
  • the Be Still web experience hosted on stillfellowship.org (including any chat or devotional tools);
  • the Still Learning House information pages; and
  • any future Still app or related tools that link back to this page.

By using these sites, tools, or apps, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

3. Spiritual & Pastoral Disclaimer

Everything we offer—whether articles, devotionals, AI-assisted responses, or educational ideas—is meant to encourage you toward Jesus, deeper engagement with Scripture, and healthier rhythms of life. However:

  • Our content is not a substitute for belonging to a local church, pastoral care, or Christian community.
  • Our tools do not replace professional help such as licensed counseling, medical care, legal advice, or financial planning.
  • If you are in crisis, danger, or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please seek immediate help from local authorities, medical professionals, or trusted people in your life.

We aim to be faithful and careful with Scripture, but we are human and imperfect. Always test what you read and hear against the Bible.

4. Information We Collect

We try to collect the minimum amount of information needed to operate Still Fellowship and improve our tools. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

4.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact information you submit through forms (such as name, email address, and message content).
  • Information you share if you sign up for email updates or newsletters.
  • Any text you type into Be Still or related tools in order to receive devotional or study responses.

4.2 Information collected automatically

  • Basic usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate region (through server logs or analytics tools).
  • Technical information needed to keep the site secure and working (error logs, performance data).

4.3 AI and RAG tools

For tools like Be Still, your questions and responses may be processed by a trusted AI provider and by our own retrieval systems in order to generate answers and improve quality. We do not sell your devotional content, and we seek to treat anything you share with reverence and care.

5. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to questions, prayer requests, or contact form submissions.
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our website, Be Still, and future apps.
  • Send occasional updates if you opt into email communication (you can opt out at any time).
  • Protect the security and integrity of our systems and community.
  • Understand, in a general way, how people are using our tools so we can make them more helpful.

6. Cookies & Analytics

Our site may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Remember basic preferences (such as simple UI settings).
  • Gather anonymous statistics about how pages are used.

You can adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies, but some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

7. When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in limited ways:

  • With service providers who help us operate the website, email, or AI tools (for example, hosting providers or AI platforms), bound by appropriate agreements.
  • If required by law, to comply with a legal obligation or valid request from authorities.
  • To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, our ministry, or others.

8. Accounts, Security & Your Responsibilities

If in the future we offer user accounts or logins connected to Still Fellowship or the Still app, you are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login details private and secure.
  • Not sharing your account with others in ways that violate these terms.
  • Using our tools in a way that honors Christ and respects other people.

You agree not to use our site or tools to post or transmit anything illegal, abusive, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise contrary to Scripture and our ministry purpose.

9. AI-Generated Content

Some responses in Be Still or related tools are generated with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) and a curated theological library. We work hard to shape these tools with orthodox, Christ-centered teaching, but:

  • AI-generated responses may occasionally be incomplete, unclear, or contain errors.
  • All content should be tested against Scripture and wise counsel from mature believers.
  • AI content is for devotional and educational purposes only, not for medical, legal, or professional decisions.

By using these tools, you agree that you remain responsible for how you apply any guidance to your life and decisions.

10. Children & Families

We love families and children, and some of our content is designed to support home learning and discipleship. However, our website and tools are primarily directed to adults and parents.

  • Children should use our tools under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

11. Copyright & Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, all content on stillfellowship.org—including text, images, logos, and original devotional material— is owned by Still Fellowship or used with permission. You may:

  • Quote short portions of content for personal use, small group discussion, or non-commercial ministry, preferably with attribution.
  • Not republish, redistribute, or sell our content as your own without prior written permission.

Some classic Christian writings quoted or referenced in our tools may be in the public domain; others may be used under license or fair use. Those works remain the property of their respective rights holders.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy & Terms of Use from time to time as our ministry, tools, or legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site or apps after changes are posted means you accept those changes.
